ALBANY, OR — Family Tree Relief Nursery hosted their annual Children’s Legacy Luncheon at the Boys and Girls Club of Albany on Thursday, April 18 where they broke their fundraising record. With approximately 250 people in attendance, Family Tree was able to teach their community about the services they provide to children and families of Linn County.

“We’re so thankful for the generous support of our community. Our lunch was a huge success and we’re grateful for the generosity of our community,” says Keith Kolkow, Development Officer at Family Tree Relief Nursery.

At Family Tree’s Children’s Legacy Luncheon they raised $40,754, breaking their own personal record for how much money raised at a single event. All proceeds go toward their Therapeutic Early Childhood Program where children and families are guided through social and emotional assistance through home visitations and classes.

Keith Kolkow added, “TECP is a really important program in our community that helps parents to succeed and creates future generations of responsible members of our community.”

Family Tree Relief Nursery has helped hundreds of children and their families to stay together as a family unit. Family Tree Relief Nursery is the only private, nonprofit organization in the area that provides the following services: a therapeutic classroom and nursery care for both toddler and preschool-aged children; home visitation and outreach services; respite care and crisis intervention; parent education and support; alcohol and drug recovery support as well as referrals to other community resources and services.
